Facing an open on the button
When a seat before you has already raised, you need a stronger hand, and the earlier that raise came from, the stronger. Against an open from under the gun, the button 3-bets 5%, calls 17% and folds 78%. Each chart is for one open with everyone in between folded.

What happens behind you when you open
Your raise takes the pot uncontested about 5% of the time. Each seat behind you, when everyone before it has folded, answers like this.
| Seat | Folds | Calls | 3-bets | 3-bets with |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small blind | 52% | 34% | 14% | 88+, ATs+, KQs, K6s, Q8s, JTs, J8s, T8s+, 87s, AKo, A9o-A7o, A5o, KJo, QTo+ |
| Big blind | 10% | 78% | 12% | 88+, 55, 33, ATs+, KQs, ATo+, A6o-A5o |
The hands listed 3-bet more often than they call or fold. All 3-bet ranges at 40bb
When your open is 3-bet
You opened, one seat behind you 3-bet, and everyone else folded. The shares are of the hands you opened, not of every hand.
| 3-bet from | Fold | Call | 4-bet or shove |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small blind | 43% | 43% | 14% |
| Big blind | 47% | 46% | 7% |

What these charts assume
- Eight players, each with 40 big blinds.
- Blinds of 0.5bb and 1bb, and the big blind posts a 1bb ante for the table.
- Opens are to 2bb, and to 3bb from the small blind, the only seat that may limp.
- 3-bets are to 6bb in position, 7bb from the small blind and 8bb from the big blind (11bb against a small blind open). Any raise may be all-in.
- Each chart is one line: a single raise, with every seat between it and you folded. Lines with callers and squeezes are in the trainer.
- Chip EV. ICM is not modelled, so near the bubble or at a final table, play tighter.
- Pots that see a flop are valued with a model built from postflop solves. No seat can gain more than 0.001bb a hand by playing differently.
Now play it
Knowing the chart is one thing. The trainer deals you these spots one hand at a time, on the button and everywhere else, and prices each answer in big blinds.
