Facing an open in the small blind
When a seat before you has already raised, you need a stronger hand, and the earlier that raise came from, the stronger. Against an open from under the gun, the small blind 3-bets 6%, calls 15% and folds 79%. Each chart is for one open with everyone in between folded.

What happens behind you when you open
Only the big blind is left to act. It folds to your raise 29% of the time.
| Seat | Folds | Calls | 3-bets | 3-bets with |

| Big blind | 29% | 61% | 10% | TT+, AQs+, 92s, AJo+, A4o, K3o, J7o, 96o |
The hands listed 3-bet more often than they call or fold. All 3-bet ranges at 40bb
When you limp
A limp does not end the hand before the flop: the big blind raises 45% and checks 55%. Its chart against a limp is on the big blind page.
When your open is 3-bet
You opened, one seat behind you 3-bet, and everyone else folded. The shares are of the hands you opened, not of every hand.

What these charts assume
- Eight players, each with 40 big blinds.
- Blinds of 0.5bb and 1bb, and the big blind posts a 1bb ante for the table.
- Opens are to 2bb, and to 3bb from the small blind, the only seat that may limp.
- 3-bets are to 6bb in position, 7bb from the small blind and 8bb from the big blind (11bb against a small blind open). Any raise may be all-in.
- Each chart is one line: a single raise, with every seat between it and you folded. Lines with callers and squeezes are in the trainer.
- Chip EV. ICM is not modelled, so near the bubble or at a final table, play tighter.
- Pots that see a flop are valued with a model built from postflop solves. No seat can gain more than 0.001bb a hand by playing differently.
Now play it
Knowing the chart is one thing. The trainer deals you these spots one hand at a time, in the small blind and everywhere else, and prices each answer in big blinds.
