3-betCallFold
Big blind against a button open, 50bb. 8-max tournament with a 1bb big blind ante. Pairs run down the diagonal, suited hands sit above it, offsuit below.

A chart against every seat that can open

The earlier the open comes from, the stronger the range behind it, and the less you defend. The chart against the button is at the top of this page. Each chart is for one open with everyone in between folded.

What these charts assume

  • Eight players, each with 50 big blinds.
  • Blinds of 0.5bb and 1bb, and the big blind posts a 1bb ante for the table.
  • Opens are to 2bb, and to 3bb from the small blind, the only seat that may limp.
  • 3-bets are to 6bb in position, 7bb from the small blind and 8bb from the big blind (11bb against a small blind open). Any raise may be all-in.
  • Each chart is one line: a single raise, with every seat between it and you folded. Lines with callers and squeezes are in the trainer.
  • Chip EV. ICM is not modelled, so near the bubble or at a final table, play tighter.
  • Pots that see a flop are valued with a model built from postflop solves. No seat can gain more than 0.001bb a hand by playing differently.

Now play it

Knowing the chart is one thing. The trainer deals you these spots one hand at a time, in the big blind and everywhere else, and prices each answer in big blinds.
